Inspired by their mutual passion for the Fruili region of Italy, Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey and former French Laundry Chef Lachlan Patterson teamed up to create Scarpetta in 2007. They started with 50 cases of old vine fruilano produced for their restaurant, Frasca, and slowly expanded to include other grapes and regions in Italy as demand increased. Lambrusco is the traditional sparkling red wine of Emilia Romagna, served both as a refreshing aperitif and a versatile partner with food. Sparkling and vibrant, with fresh dark fruit flavors and a dry, spicy finish, Frico brings lambrusco to a compact can format, making it even more convenient to enjoy no matter where the occasion happens to be!
