McCarthy's Oregon Single Malt Whiskey is distilled in a Holstein pot still using one pass distillation from a fermented mash of 100% peat malted barley from Scotland. The spirit is then barrel-aged in 3 year air-dried Oregon Oak barrels and bottled at 85 proof without chill filtration. The result is a remarkably complex and delicate peated single malt. Robust and smoky nose and taste is complemented by hints of dried fruit, plum and a warm finish of honey and delicate peat. Rich, Nutty, Oak and Balanced.
