Description
100% Grüner Veltliner
The Grüner Veltliner grapes are hand-picked, pressed after a short maceration and fermented in a cool place. A small part of it is fermented as a mash in an open vat, pressed after three weeks and combined with the classically fermented wine in steel barrels.
After 4 months in barrels, this wine is bottled naturally cloudy.
Since 1989 - Naturnaher Weinbau (natural winery - no herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers)
Since 2012 - Austria Bio Garantie (in process of biodynamic certification).
Josef and Eva Maria Bauer farm 17 hectares of vines in the Wagram region of Austria and produce this wine from 4.5 hectares of Gruner Veltliner planted in loess soils.
